Irene La Sen is the aka for the young poet Irene Del Valle when she works in her spoken word. Related from the nineties to groups from the underground hip hop in cities as Palma, Barcelona, or Madrid, Del Valle resides nowadays in Palma, where she joined the Up rockin Crew a Hip Hop Collective involved in the promotion of urban culture, art, graffiti, music shows, events.. Cuando en 1996 Ry Cooder viajó a Cuba para grabar un álbum con Ibrahim Ferrer y el resto de músicos que le habían acompañado antes en el disco Buena Vista Social Club, Win Wenders le siguió con un reducido equipo de filmación. El cineasta alemán estudió y rastreó sus vidas en La Habana, para después continuar rodando en Amsterdam, dónde Buena Vista Social Club ofreció dos conciertos y finalizar en Nueva York con un recital en el legendario Carnegie Hall.
